2.西弗吉尼亚州简介：
西弗吉尼亚州（West Virginia），又译为西维吉尼亚州，是美国南部的一个州（有时也被分为东北部）。别称为“山脉之州”（Mountain State）。面积62755平方公里，在50州内列第41位。人口为1850326（2014年估测），列第38位，首府查尔斯顿（Charleston） 。州箴言是“Montani Semper Liberi"（山地人永远自由）。
全州大部分地区属湿润的大陆性气候，四季分明。年平均气温随纬度和高度而异：南部为13℃，北部为11℃，大部分山区为9℃；1月最冷，全州平均为1℃，7月最热，平均为23℃。作物生长期为120～180天，平均为160天。年平均降水量在810毫米（东部锅柄区）至1400毫米（山区）之间。
根据皮尤研究中心2014年的一项调查，西弗吉尼亚州39%的居民为福音派新教徒，29%居民为主流新教徒，6%居民为天主教徒，2%居民为摩门教徒，1%居民为穆斯林，1%居民为犹太教徒，另有18%的居民没有宗教归属。
